Hello fellow vowel buyers, been a while since we did one of these, but with the debut of the primetime ABC specials tomorrow, now's the time for a couple of announcements.
First, just in case you don't know, Buy a Vowel has a Discord! Simply click on the controller icon on the left of the page and join the conversation! We will be having live chat for all of the primetime specials, so join us in discussing the shows in real time! ABC has been heavily promoting these shows, so we'd like to show as much support as possible. One of the site's goals for 2021 is to expand use of the Discord; we'd like to be able to use it on a nightly basis for live show chat, with usergroups set up based on what time the show airs in your area.
Next, as you may recall, we recently parted ways with our former Recap Guide. woffan4ever graciously stepped in in the interim and has provided recaps for us, and has done a wonderful job for us. As many of you know, Dylan was one of our original moderators, so we were thrilled at the prospect of having him back. However, thanks to a staff change over the summer putting us down one person, plus we have a couple who have become busy outside of the forums they're not as active as they used to be (not their fault, and I'm not firing anyone, no worries!), Jess and I have decided to not only strip Dylan of the "interim" title, but to reinstate him to his old role as full moderator, effective immediately. He will continue to serve as full-time Recap Guide as well.
