Apparently, Pat & Vanna don't like their bacon crispy. Vanna microwaves it (since it's easier) and Pat fries it (since it's better).

Now, if this show makes it to season 50...then, they'll run out of things to talk about.

Good lord, Anasa's BANKRUPT might've been the worst of all time. If not, definitely a top 3. It's incredibly aggravating when one fills in most of the entire puzzle and gets $28K from 8 L's, all to make that hard work go poof when that flipper just won't escape that black space.

At least we got to see big money later on as Mark comes from behind to win and almost doubles it in the endgame.

Add in some fun moments here and there, and it's a pretty good episode, even counting that nasty BANKRUPT.

Barring a possible Round 3 Bankrupt after hitting $5,000 in the shopping era (with about 800 shows, it's possible that it happened at least once), this might be the worst of the play-for-cash format at the time.

It was eventually beaten by 4/23/2008 (which managed to be painful and funny at the same time) and 4/20/2010 (which was just painful).

Recaps will be on hiatus as of May 27, 2024 due to life changes.

Disappointed Britt didn't know the word "Waffle" in R1

That sure was one painful bankrupt in R3

Big R4 by Mark to win the game. If there was something to thank for that it would be the $5000 wedge.

Not a bad episode except for Britt's dud in R1 and the painful bankrupt in R3
