From the Philadelphia Convention Hall and Civic Center, it's America's game! The bell rings for My Favorite Teacher Week!
Our first student/teacher pairs of the week:
Jennifer & Robert: Jennifer is a junior at Boothbay Region High School and likes German and Math. Robert was her German teacher but has since started teaching at Champlain Valley Union High School.
Jay & John: Jay is a junior at Meadow School in Las Vegas, and he hopes to study medicine. John has been a teacher in both the public and private sector.
Jason & Roy: Jason is a 9th-grader at North Penn Junior High School, and he enjoys music and plays in a marching band. Roy is his 8th-grade science teacher, teaching at North Penn for 10 years so far.
The top-dollar value on the Wheel is $1,000...but more importantly, for this special week, your play-for-cash winnings will be doubled!
Jason & Roy solve WAYNE'S WORLD.
Jennifer & Robert solve OPERATORS ARE STANDING BY.
Okay, maybe we just needed a better Big Money wedge, such as the $3,500 space. Maybe now we can cash in!
DING DING! DING DING!
It's almost the end of school, so Pat will give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth... $500 a piece. Just a little stronger...
Jay & John: R (x2) ($1,000)
Jason & Roy: P ($500)
Jennifer & Robert: O (DUD!)
Jay & John: E (x2) ($1,000)
Jay & John solve REPEAT AFTER ME. And Jay did just that after John said it.
BONUS ROUND:
RSTLNE gives them:
