An entire segment winds up devoted *just* to Jack Clark reading plugs from the last round's shopping results, which is conducted between rounds. No idea how common it was for this era of the show as my interest has always been late 80s/90s cash-era shows, but this was wild to come across on a recent tape. Sorry the audio's a little rough, issues with the tape.

After watching a lot of episodes of The Price Is Right around this era on Pluto recently, you can really start to make out the familiarity of some of the prizes. That Mustang in the bonus is similar in trim/options to one offered on a playing of Golden Road, and that hotel in Mexico City was offered a few times as well. (Of course, nothing mink related, and I actually find it funny when Pat tosses the wedge out!) And its a little ironic that this was posted today since Pluto got as far as the 9/14/83 episode before cycling back a year, less than a week from the official premiere of Syndie Wheel.
But whoa, a full three minutes of Jack just reading prize copy. And R1 and R2's aren't exactly brief either. The print by GSN looks to come from a summer 1984 rerun per the Drano plug. Always nice to see this new to the web content from the days when Vanna definitely looked hot!
