With the G call, I'm guessing Jamal thought one of the words in Round 1 would be "glow." That was my immediate thought as well, but almost as immediately realized that the show would never actually use that

All my life, I thought it was spelled "yakity," and thought Ashley doomed herself when she picked E instead of I. Good for her that I knew nothing

I do not understand Carmen's L call in Round 3. Even if she didn't know the last word, C was an obvious safe pick for MUSI_, which would've helped with that last word, too.

Bad luck for Jamal in the first two rounds, but he made up for it later and ended up with an excellent second place score.

The 3rd round had me flashing back to a few weeks ago when the contestant was in a similar situation and called a repeat letter on the Express wedge. Thankfully we didn't repeat that tonight.

Roasted Pancakes? I agree with Pat, not having breakfast at her place.

Four Zs in a puzzle, that definitely has to be a rarity.

I got the bonus puzzle with her letters. Should've solved it, but needed a bit more help as it turns out.

The fun Ashley cleaned up, mostly thanks to her opponents’ mishaps. But Jamal finished very strong in the Final Spin; it’s been a while since we had four Z’s in a puzzle (think of RAZZLE-DAZZLE). 🤔

I didn’t know R2 was actually a song; I heard of YAKETY-YAK from a season 23 episode. But I no-lettered DARK and DINNER in R1.

I got the BR with RSTLNE, and I’m very surprised Ashley didn’t solve it with her picks.

My rating: 7
