Well, it happened. After like 3 months of hard work, mechamind decided to call it quits on the classic episodes (for now). I fully understand why he wanted to do that (I think we can all agree that we get burnout from making daily recaps at times.), but I'll definitely miss his daily contributions.

For that, I will try to post a recap here every day (except for the days where I can't quite make it) so that this section won't feel so empty. Here's one from the 20th season (from Culver City - this does not take place in San Francisco, whammy007!).

She's incorrect with LEOPARD, BEAGLE and PEASHELL (which is kinda close), so this PEACOCK flew away with...

Then again, she's perfectly fine with what she won anyway - $20,966, which includes a brand new car!

The puzzle revealed as it was solved.

After all, this really is a 2-sided coin. On the one hand, it was a disappointing loss. On the other hand, Christie won a bunch of stuff and seemed quite happy to be here (and being on this show is a victory in itself).

Even though the $100,000 loss stings, this was a good maingame. The $10,000 prize and the Mystery prize were both won. Plenty before the Speed-Up which was minimal.

(In terms of recapping in general, I'm just glad I got through most of the available episodes that didn't even have dates on them. That should make it a lot easier in the future.)

Recaps will be on hiatus as of May 27, 2024 due to life changes.
