Here's an original airing from January 1990. Someone said this is possibly from the 25th but if anyone can confirm this it's appreciated. No spoilers please.

I have it listed in the compendium as the 25th, so that should be right. I knew this episode looked familiar when I checked it out on YouTube, someone's shown it to me previously. A is certainly an unusual name to see on the show.
Never realized how much this applied to more than a simple want.
We'll we've had contestants named G and Q, just 23 more to go! Interesting to see a contestant plug as well back when you didn't have to use either the Wheelmobile or online to try out. I'm not sure if that was edited during GSN reruns. The game itself is pretty average, but if I would have called a vowel during the speedup given the small dollar amount Pat landed to have a better shot at a win there. Obscure places can certainly make for tricky BR, even if it was very solvable with Vinny's picks. And geez, $3790 was very expensive for a computer back then that probably performed about as well as a $790 one would in 1995.
The WCBS 2 News promo after the bonus round confirms that this is the 25th, due to a mention of Ava Gardner's passing as well as Pat not mentioning "Monday" or "have a good weekend" at the end.

If anyone's uploaded a copy of this episode in the past, I'm sure it was my friend, the late David Downs! The only difference, as I recall, is that copy was from GSN.
