Being part of the WebTV service revival efforts to bring those old boxes back from the grave for the sake of web history documentation, one of the things being studied at the moment is how interactive content is practically implemented in programs. Back in 2000-2001, Wheel (Alongside Jeopardy) was one of the shows that took advantage of the WebTV interactive links feature given Sony was the major manufacturer of the terminal units before the MSN rebrand. I'd like to see if anyone here took advantage of the WebTV content that supplemented Wheel airings at the time and would like to share their experiences, and if anyone is able to volunteer in providing WebTV-related Wheel material. From what me and the WebTV revival efforts gathered, a link is sent during the program via an unused closed caption track that a WebTV unit can read and send you to a supplemental interactive webpage related to what is seen in the airing. Pretty sure the page is a play-along Wheel to the taping aired that day?
