Wheel of Fortune!

Here come your host and hostess, Nicky Campbell and Angela Ekaette!

Somebody could win a flight to New York and a trip home on the QE2!
Maybe...you could win a £3,000 Jackpot!
Or would you like to win a Vauxhall Nova hatchback car?

One spin of the Wheel could mean an absolute fortune for one of tonight's three contestants!

Our contestants are:
Hazel Fidor: Personnel controller for an employment agency
David (last name not given): Bishop's chaplain to the University of Birmingham
Liz Klugman: Teaches mathematics in high school; from Pontefract, West Yorkshire

Nicky wonders if Hazel's last name gets any jokes about her last name with "Fido" in it. Hilariously, David's wearing a "dog collar" with his suit.

The top value on the Wheel is 1,000, but watch out for BANKRUPT so that you don't lose all your points! Let's look at Angela over at the board.

Each panel has a letter behind it, and you must guess any correct consonant that will appear in the puzzle. We start with this one...

For solving the puzzle, she can pick a prize! We have anything for the baby from a chauffeur cart, carry basket, changing table, baby soft crib, and a 1-year supply of nappies.

Liz doesn't have kids, but she'll give her husband a shock. She's picking the nappies.

The very first episode of UK Wheel went a lot better than I was expecting...though Round 3 was on par with what I expected.

Honestly, I think the History Wiki is going to have a separate page for this version of Wheel within a year. I plan to do more of this, and it should cover almost everything outside the daytime John Leslie era.

There's a reason this show has been on so long.
