Hey, folks. A few things that have been bugging me: * What were the stunts? I remember seeing "Feed The Raptor" during its original run on CBS, but I can't remember anything beyond the raptor head and a giant...sandbox? There was also "Cube Roll", which I only know of from an episode on YouTube; said episode appears to have played it and chopped it out. * Does anybody know how long the Bravo Card tour lasted? I've read that it was going strong on November 1, 1997. * About how many episodes were made, and when did the show leave CBS' schedule? TV Tango doesn't even list Wheel 2000 in its vintage schedules, and I've heard sources say 13 or 26 shows were done. Thanks for any help.

There was one other stunt (can't remember the name) where the contestant was surrounded by phones. When a phone rang, they had to say something (can't remember that either) and then listen to the description of the famous person being described. A correct guess gave the contestant a letter.
Does anyone know if there was a stunt involving slot cars?

That stunt was called "Call Waiting." You can see it in action here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfUUAwOuQXI#t=4m50sWario, I'm sorry to say that I don't know the answers to your questions overall, but on the topic of stunts, I do remember a stunt that involved throwing darts at balloons, and the stunt on the timeline that's labeled as "Watch It" was actually called "Match It" according to germanname, and it was something similar to Race Game from The Price is Right.

Here are a couple stunts I've spotted on YouTube:
"Letter Launch" - the player would have to launch "alien ships" (some kind of plushy and/or beanbag) from a catapult into one of four rotating pods. They had 30 seconds and could earn 30 more by answering 2 true/false questions (15 seconds each). Each tile that they landed in a basket earned them a randomized letter (up to 3).
"Smell O Letter" (spelling is correct) - the player would have to correctly identify smells in order to earn letters. They were given one minute and four smells, but could only earn up to 3 randomized letters.
I would think that I'd remember more considering how much I watched it when it was on, but it seems to have leaked out over the years. Sorry that I can't be of more help!

Yes, it was called Match It. What you had to do was match the color of the helmets with three space aliens. The colors were revealed to everyone except the player. Now although there were three aliens, there were four differently colored helmets to spice up the difficulty. I never saw anyone get 2 letters or 1 letter on this game (just 3 or 0), but my guess is whatever you had right when time ran out, that's how many letters you earned.
Here are some other ones I know.
Alientoss: There are 12 numbered squares on a board, and you have to throw plush aliens at the numbers, which are pretty small, but basically it's like a memory game or Concentration. If you're able to match up to 3 shapes, you get a letter. This was also the game used when Bravo sponsored Wheel 2000 to go across the country. On the alternative set, there were only 9 squares used instead of 12. When I went to see it at Navy Pier's Grand Ballroom on November 1, 1997, the shapes were halloween themed (2 each of a Trick or Treat Bag, a Pumpkin, a Bat, and a Skeleton). The 9th was the Bravo Card, which gave you a free match. You had only 45 seconds to get three matches. Since the randomizer didn't come along, they had the contestant choose whatever letters they wanted, the number depending on how many matches they made. Consonants were worth 250 points for each occurence. They could also choose vowels if they wanted to. They didn't cost anything, but in return, they weren't worth anything either. Plus whenever someone landed on that wedge after the game was played, Sidoni announced that it was just a regular 250-point space.
One of my personal favorite games was Chutes and Letters. You guessed a color a on a 12 wedge wheel (4 each had red, yellow, and blue). Right after or as you guess the color, you roll a ball down a chute. If you guess correctly, you get a letter. If not, you can still try again, but you have only 60 seconds to guess correctly up to three times.
Wash and Wear Words. You have hats, shirts, pants, and shoes, each with a letter, and you have to put each of them on to make a four-letter word. If you guess the word you spell correctly, you get a letter. Hopefully they didn't set the game up to have a player spell out, you know...
I don't think there was a slot car game, but there was an R/C car game. I can't remember the name of it, but you have you drive an R/C car along a course that resembled a maze. There are five lines. The first is the starting line, the second gives you the first letter, the third gives you a Wheel 2000 hat, the fourth gives you a second letter, and the third is the finish line, thus giving you the third letter.
Any more I can remember, I'll put them in here.

Germanname, that stunt you were referring to was Monster Rally.
Now there is another one that I know of: Monster Heads - A stunt where a vat of green slime is involved in a stunt, this was the only stunt where the slime had any usage on the show I do believe. A player is protected with rubber gloves, goggles and an apron and inside the vat of slime were several pieces of heads of several famous people, living or dead. Now Wario, the reason why TV Tango didn't list Wheel 2000 in its schedule listings was because it some stations had the show on at various time slots, some had it on Sunday mornings and other stations had completely blacked-out Wheel 2000, so at that time, if you didn't have cable and you like to get into children's game shows on weekend mornings, Click! and Peer Pressure were pretty much your only choices, otherwise, for those who already had cable or digital cable, you could always see Wheel 2000, also first-run on GSN on Friday nights. There were between 20 and 23 episodes produced IIRC. The first Wheel 2000 episode was taped around late-July 1997 and the last un-announced Wheel 2000 episode was taped around early November of the same year, correct me if I'm wrong. Wheel 2000(and Jep!) was also seen in reruns on the Discovery Kids Channel for awhile after leaving the GSN schedule several years back. You may notice on the first-taped shows, that the same puzzle is carried over to the next segment causing the game having each round consisting a different stunt and only 2 rounds were played.

I appreciate the info about Monster Rally.
Now I know it's been a while since the last post, but after checking the Wiki, I saw that there's unknown info about Cube Roll. I may have an episode where that game is played, but I have to look first. Even if I can't find it, I still know some aspects of the main game, though they may be somewhat sketchy.
It's kind of like the bonus round of "The Big Showdown" only instead of using their hands to roll the dice, they use their hands to push up a lever to tilt a platform to send the cubes rolling down. There are different symbols on the cubes (I don't know if the number is 3 or 6), but if you simply roll a match, you get a letter.
Please keep checking back for more info.

And before you say anything else germanname, yes Jep! and Wheel 2000 were shown in reruns on GSN in 2000 as part of Cable in the Classroom, since you told me that you had GSN in 2000. Now as for this stunt:
Feed The Raptor - A stunt that consisted of a dinosaur head, a net and a sandbox of rubber food, a contestant starts off with 45 seconds but in order to increase his/her time to 60 seconds, a dinosaur-related question is posed, a correct answer increases the stunt to 60 seconds, a wrong one is stuck at 45 seconds, in one playing, the raptor was an herbivore, which only eats veggies, and in another playing, a raptor was a carnivore, which eats meat. Like Letter Launch, this stunt is both mental and physical go together.
As for Monster Rally, it's 75 seconds for that stunt JTLYK.
Also, in Wash and Wear Words, there was also a buzzer, with the same buzzer sound that was previously heard on Zooventure, in fact, a lot of SFX on this show come from Zooventure, also when someone lands on the prize box, the SFX would eventually be heard again on a future revival of Pyramid.
