Just came across this gem in my collection! A partial Daytime Teen Week show from New Years Week 1987! Starts at beginning of gameplay and ends in middle of Speed-Up Round but still some great stuff!

Talk about a fitting puzzle in the speedup round right as the video ends, with anyone still in the match, with Hope determined to win the match by $100 if she called the right consonant and then solving thereafter. Probably the biggest cliffhanger in terms of how much of an episode is available. These special Friday Finals also provide a preview at why I like the early cash era so much with six-round games not uncommon. And a puzzle featuring a diva when "Open Your Heart" and "True Blue" were on CHR. Still, a great way to kick off a year that will eventually bring us new cues including "Buzzword", the "Car-azy February" sweepstakes, and eventually in nighttime, the $2500 and $3500 spaces and the $25,000 cash in the BR. That said, this episode aired on December 26, 1986 on a few stations, but many stations shelved it due to sports programming or the Search For Tomorrow finale.
