The Training Arcade specializes in making employee training fun with custom games. Their most popular project is their customizable Jeopardy! software, where you can even book Jimmy or Sarah from the Clue Crew to host your game live. They just launched a Wheel of Fortune software to go with the sister show's game. thetrainingarcade.com/wheel-of-fortune-from-the-training-arcade/
All of their games are played in a web browser from a provided link. As of now, only a single-player version of Wheel is available, but they are working on a multiplayer version. The single-player version looks and plays similarly to the Wheel of Fortune Free Play app. The puzzles, and some other game components, are customized by the game's creator. The game features many of the current music cues and voiceovers from Jim Thornton. The game creator can customize how many rounds the game will have, and whether each round is a regular "spin" round, a Toss-Up, or a Bonus Round.
The biggest changes in terms of gameplay are that vowels only cost $250 for the first purchase, with subsequent ones costing $1,000. Spin rounds can also have solve bonuses that decrease as more of the puzzle is revealed. Toss-Ups also decrease in value as more letters are added. Toss-Ups start at $8,000, and the Bonus Round is played for that same amount. I am not sure if that amount can be customized, but I do know that having the solve bonus in spin rounds is optional, and there is also an option to disable Bankrupts. Since the Wheel is a flat PNG file, the wedges cannot be customized. All spin rounds use the Season 33-36 R4 layout but with Free Play replaced with an orange $500. There are no special wedges.
Don't count on buying this game for yourself. A license for just one game from The Training Arcade's library will cost you $1,999 per year.
Here is a demo of the game from the player's end. This was meant for a webinar that took place last Friday showing off the game. It still works as of now, but it will probably be taken down eventually. sententia.thetrainingarcade.com/games/wheel-of-fortune/game-garage
The "STOP!!!" messages between rounds were done so that nobody in the webinar would be ahead of other players. You can disregard those and scroll down to the Continue button. The puzzles are very niche and were made just for the webinar. If you want to know them ahead of time, they're in the spoiler.
