Wow, they really had Il Divo record a 25th anniversary bumper almost a full year before the 25th anniversary even happened.

Yes that makes sense. Shows can plan out entire seasons during the prior season or even earlier. The fact that they were there and on set made for a perfect opportunity to tape something ahead of time.
