I've been reading quite a few comments particularly on YouTube criticizing Harry Friedman for the changes he has brought to Wheel over the years. One comment reads: "their big mistake was Harry Friedman, in my opinion. He attempted to make the show more... hip and with it, with all of the overly-flashy, hi-tech graphics, set changes, and unneeded theme weeks... Now, it's barely watchable. If it's not broken, there's no need to fix it..."
I personally don't think that Harry has done a bad job with the show, but then again, my opinion may be biased since I'm only 15 years old, and Harry has been a producer ever since I began watching.
Despite that, Wheel of Fortune is still the same game that viewers have come to know and love over the past 29 years. Harry has managed to make changes to the show without changing the core gameplay. Plus, I think he's doing a much better job handling this show than a certain executive producer on TPIR......
What are your opinions on Harry Friedman? Do you think he's done a good job handling the show?

I'm two years older than you and agree with your statement, he has not done a bad job in the past 15 years, I for one like the updated color schemes of the wheel, the theme weeks...well some of em are a little corny but every show has to have a can or in this case a host full of corn. As for the set I'm going to quote Pat here, "We like to keep the show looking fresh" and that is exactly what Harry Friedman is trying to do. And there was a reason for the high-tech set changes to whoever on youtube said that other then freshness, the board broke.
