The First Two Episodes
The other week from S14's San Diego remote features college students.
EPISODE #2713: COLLEGE WEEK FROM SAN DIEGO
Airdate: 5/21/97
The SDSU students do the opening chant. Also, the SDSU cheer squad entertains the crowd this week and the SDSU pep band offers most of the music for this this week as well.
Introducing our midweek trio...
Laureen Castillo (SDSU)
John Arbuckle (IUPUI)
Melissa Golden (also SDSU)
And now let's get to know about these students:
Laureen Castillo: San Diego (Born and raised!). Sophmore studying international business. She's also a world traveler due to her father being in the military.
John Arbuckle: Indianapolis, IN. Studying psychology (plans to go into either sports psychology or clinical psychology). His school's named "Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis". He's also just got married on New Year's Eve and does some wrestling.
Melissa Golden: Redding, CA. Junior studying political science (but she might change her major to musical theater) who enjoys water-skiing and camping.
Combine the name of a Beatle with the name of the Han Solo guy - Melissa solves GEORGE HARRISON FORD.
DUDS: L & T (John)
LOSE A TURN: Laureen
PRIZE ADDED TO WHEEL: Broyhill home office + Sony Vaio PC (marked COMPUTER) totaling $3,915
Melissa capitalizes on John's misfortune quite nicely with THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.

Our SDSU students take us to commercial.
