At the top of the show, Pat has definitely said "Vanna has scampered into place" at least a few times. He seems to enjoy the word "scamper" in all of its forms  . |

When they still had returning champs:
"(Name) is back. This is (full name) from (hometown) who had a pretty good day here yesterday. $XX,XXX in cash and prizes. (audience applauds) And you want MORE?!?"
When said returning champ wins nothing on a subsequent appearance:
"Well, you can't win 'em all!"

One of Pat's more infrequent quips is that a contestant has a cab outside with the meter running. I've seen him use it as far back as 1990, and it still comes up every once in a while.

Pat’s spiel for every time someone lands on the Express Wedge I’ve memorised becuase he says the exact thing every time!
“Y’know, if you wanna do this Express thing, you can call consonants, you get $1000 for each one, you can buy vowels, you miss any letter it’s a Bankrupt, you wanna do it?”

Here's one from his earlier days: "If you land on that prize, it'll go into your bank. And if you solve the puzzle, that will be yours. I also want to remind our players we have another 'BANKRUPT' on the Wheel. So watch out for that!"
