Although GSN completely skipped this week, here is the Season 13 "finale" from Sony which I received from a trade years ago...technically not the last new show of the season because of Olympic Champions Week in July...Pat and Vanna sample Baskin-Robbins featured Wheel of Fortune ice cream flavor!

I saw the entry on the Wiki about there possibly being a new show on July 19, 1996. Has there been any confirmation of the existence of this episode, other than the fact that Jeopardy aired a brand new episode of its own that same night following a tournament? I do find it odd that neither Pat nor Vanna make any mention of it being the last regular show of the season and don’t plug the Olympic tournament week the following month (unless they did on other shows around this time and I missed it). This episode just seems to be treated like any other Friday show.
I tend to think that there probably wasn’t a new July 19, 1996 episode. Presumably, if it existed, it would feature Jeannette in her third and final appearance. There would have been no need to bring her back the following season.
