I wonder if anyone noticed let alone paid attention this. Before the Celebrity specials, the last time we had two adjacent $X50 spaces was Season 29: $350 and $450. Now we have $650 and $950 on the Celebrity specials and $650 and $850 on regular episodes.
And considering that $650 and $850 were retired together in 1979, it's nice to see that they're that much closer now. And some nice things for $850. It was only seen in Round 3 (plus Round 4 if there was time for such), but now it's every round. In addition, it's not next to a penalty space. So all that is something to say a nice little yay for.
