^This episode has an unusual style of category strip that isn't the thin, monospaced letters or the bold Helvetica type. How long was this style strip used? I'm guessing only the latter half of season 2 since the Helvetica strips were in use on the "Thrill of Victory" episode.

This is a very interesting way and I loved how they had those strips. More of them are needed for these seasons.

That style of strips was used from 1975 to about 1985, they were used on the original daytime version of the show, so they just carried it over to nighttime until they had better graphics so that is my thoughts on this

This type can be seen on the "Kill the Vampire" episode. Sometime around 1980, they changed to a thin, monospaced font that was often white (e.g. Pat's first episode). It looks like the bold, white-framed Helvetica design indeed came in nighttime Season 3, which would put this episode in the latter half of Season 2 (because I've found other Season 2 episodes with the white, monospaced graphics).

The version in that video is in no way similar to the original version...The orginal strips looks as if they were typed on an old school computer...
