It just feels weird to have a perfect Round 1 and 2, but Round 4 begins as a Speed-Up. Then again, I've seen it happen on an early Season 14 episode back when they didn't even have Toss-Ups!

Speaking of Toss-Ups, I sorta "no-lettered" the first one phonetically (I spelled it as CAPITAL HILL in my head again). Even worse, I saw the hyphen and thought the second one would be DUDLEY DO-RIGHT before it came up one letter short. It is Great American Cities...so says a viewer from across the 49th.

I thought the third Triple Toss-Up would be JOB COACH before the blanks appeared, which was actually reasonable, but it turned out not to be.

Welp, I'm on an RSTLNE streak again in Bonus Land. with the L and T, I knew the first word would be LIGHTWEIGHT, and HOODIE worked for the second word.

Yes, I did no-letter the first 2 Toss-Ups. The second one was used on 4/16/08. However, I negged on TTU2 and TTU3 (TENNIS COACH and LINE COACH, respectively).

BR: About time I covered an all-cash winner this season (though I was aware Sean also could've won the Taos). This is probably the 6th episode in a row I RSTLNEd (though I did have LIGHTWEIGHT BLAZER with no letters). I think this puzzle is telling me to dress in layers now (it's been unusually cool in OC lately).

EDIT: I almost forgot, but my YT feed spoiled the end result again...

Surprisingly, according to the compendium, this was the debut of HOODIE on the show (not even just the BR, the whole show.) We've seen LIGHTWEIGHT in the BR a few times, but it's usually paired with JACKET or something where calling the H doesn't give away the answer. Maybe we've finally cleared up enough budget for easier BRs? We can hope

Everyone did well this episode, though Sean made me a little nervous in R1. He and Keisha had a pretty good match. Given the speed of R2, I thought we would have more time before the Final Spin.

I no-lettered TU2, got R2 with just the E’s, and solved the BR with Sean’s picks. Maybe the C was a precaution, but great BR win by him nonetheless!

My rating: 7
