So we had the CANDYMAN puzzle that caused a bit of a stir online a few nights ago, now tonight we had BEETLEJUICE! The twelve Es has to be the most amount of one letter that's ever been in a puzzle.

The first half definitely ran overtime since there was no banter between Pat and the celebs between the 1st and 2nd Toss-ups and the Speed-Up started after one letter in round 3.

Both bonus puzzles were solvable, surprised they were both missed.

The gameplay was OK (and some of Anthony’s letter picks were a little baffling), but the contestants made this episode enjoyable. Loni slamming the $1M wedge had me rolling, but Mario almost had me howling with laughter. His quips made these two games. 😂

I didn’t expect so much theming in the puzzles even though this aired on Halloween. No wonder I solved them so quickly, no-lettering the PUMPKIN and WEREWOLVES puzzles as well as THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN.

I solved both BRs with RSTLNE. I think the C’s would’ve given Mario a shot at the first puzzle, but I’m surprised Anthony didn’t solve the second.

My rating: 8 (only because of the trio’s humor)
