I wish i was the one to discover this, but credit actually would go to gamecrazyh for this (using illustrations he made for this)
Anyway, turns out some wedges were skipped (depending on what round it was) on the old Tiger "Deluxe" game (i never realized when i was young and had a copy of the game)
and yes, i might put a more "traditional" version of all this in my deviantart later
in short, it still keeps with a 24-wedge layout despite the display having more

Tiger's 1999 Deluxe game was their best Wheel of Fortune game in my opinion, although every unit I get my hands on loses the sound before long.
Now I always thought the $5000 replaced the $400 instead of $300, but I haven't played my copy in years. So I may want to check that.

Slight edit to the round 3 wheel. Germanname is right in that the $400 is skipped, but is seems as though the $300 also gets skipped. Leading me to believe that in addition to the $5000 replacing a wedge, one more wedge is unused in round 3 to emulate the two-Bankrupt layout.
