Starting Tuesday, November 23, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will be airing on Canadian cable network GameTV, which airs various classic and modern game shows. The show will air Tuesdays at 8 PM ET, Wednesdays at 3 AM, and Sundays at 5 7 PM, and will start with Season 1. http://instagr.am/p/CWWwIcVN86i Oddly, most of GameTV's airings are listed to be divided into two separate half-hours, but this is probably a mistake. If not, it will be interesting to see how the show will be edited into standalone half-hour episodes. Here's something interesting... Once this starts, Wheel of Fortune will be airing on four different networks in Canada. Eat your heart out, Harvey Feud! 1) Yes TV: Syndicated version airs Monday-Saturday at 7 PM ET. 2) CTV: New eps of CWOF air Sundays at 8 PM ET (except when there's no episode scheduled). 3) E! Canada: CWOF Season 2 reruns (usually the most recent episode) air Saturdays at 12 and 8 PM and Sundays at 4 AM. 4) GameTV: CWOF Season 1 reruns air Tuesdays at 8 PM, Wednesdays at 3 AM, and Sundays at 5 7 PM. |

In terms of reruns, this is certainly a step forward.
All we're missing is a way to watch the show without cable in rural areas (Canada has been at a disadvantage following Season 29).

As expected, the first episode to air was the series premiere with Leslie Jones, Chandra Wilson, and Tony Hawk.
GameTV's airings are exactly the same as the original ABC airings. The $10K giveaways are not edited out. Also, for some reason, they're rated G instead of PG like the CTV and E! airings.

CTV tends to post a higher TV rating than other channels (sometimes higher than American channels, whereas it's normally the other way around), and E! is owned by the same company. GameTV is under different ownership.

4) GameTV: CWOF Season 1 reruns air Tuesdays at 8 PM, Wednesdays at 3 AM, and Sundays at 5 PM. The Sunday schedule on the GameTV website is incorrect. CWOF actually airs at 7 PM on Sundays, not 5. Sunday airings are the same episode that aired the previous Tuesday and Wednesday, so there is only one unique episode per week. |

This is the last week with CWOF on GameTV. For the past eight weeks, they aired Season 1 in order of production number, including the Chris Harrison episode, still with the disclaimer that the episode taped in December 2020. It seems that when this network acquires primetime game shows, they simply run one season exactly once and that's it, at least for a while. I imagine Season 2 will come by next year. The last airing of CWOF is this Sunday at 6 PM with episode #108.

CWOF returns to GameTV starting June 5, presumably another cycle of Season 1. This time, it will only run once a week, Sundays at 7 PM.
EDIT: Wheel was dropped after July 3, after five airings.

Season 3 will air on GameTV starting September 19, on Thursdays at 8 PM, Fridays at 3 AM, and Saturdays at 8 PM.
