Now that Michael Davies is the interim executive producer, I wonder will there eventually be a permanent replacement for a new executive producer. If there will be a permanent replacement I wonder who would make a good executive producer. Any ideas?
Mike Richards probably had some good ideas to turn Wheel around if he had not been dismissed. I liked he brought back "Changing Keys" and a Wheel Tournament this season. And if Mike Richards is still executive producer he probably had some good ideas for Wheel's 40th anniversary next season.

"Interim" means it's temporary, but it's always possible that Sony will ask Michael to take the job permanently if he does it well.
I'm more interested in knowing why Michael is being credited on J! but not Wheel...

Are we sure that Davies is doing interim on both shows? That could be why he is not being credited on Wheel. It was never necessarily confirmed that he was assisting with production on both shows, J! was only made apparent.

Yes I know interim means temporary. I sort of have a feeling they may do a hiring search for a permanent replacement.

Yes I know interim means temporary. I sort of have a feeling they may do a hiring search for a permanent replacement. If that's the case, then they can have someone else Executive Produce Wheel while Michael Davies Executive Produces Jeopardy!, assuming they make him more permanent there.
