Since the Aug. 31 taping I'll be attending is just about a week away, I'd like to know if there's any advice you have in regards to arrival time, what to wear (ex. Do they allow brand name clothing, etc.) and things like that.
Also, many people on this board have been asking if I could clarify rule changes for S29, like the 1/2 Car wedges, etc. So if you have any specific question regarding S29 rules that haven't been clarified yet, you can post that here, and I'll do my best to answer them after the tape date.

I haven't been to a Culver City taping since 1998, so I can't really be certain on arrival times, but I'd try to get there at least an hour before the actual taping time. Maybe you should call the ticket line to find out. I'd waer something nice and simple, like a collared shirt or a solid-colored T-shirt, maybe even a homemade Wheel-themed shirt if you have one. Concerning Season 29 changes, just pay attention to the various criteria of the 1/2 Car wedge without spoiling too much (maybe elaborate on it after the episode airs). Pay attention to the monitors just before the Toss Ups, Prize Puzzle, and Final Spin to see what the new graphics look like, and look for logos that are different from the Season 28 logo. Although it's not likely, pay close attention to the wheel in later rounds to see if they add any new values. See if you see any of the new categories come into play, or the trivia categories, but don't spoil the puzzles or answers. If a contestant lands on the Wild Card, pay attention to their score to see if they get $900 per letter. They did that with the 1/2 Car tags last season, so it is possible they'll do it with the Wild Card. Have fun!

With regards to what to report, Mario pretty much covered everything...just make sure you send your report to either Jon or I first via private message so we can spoiler-clear it. Thanks!
Have fun!

Check if cars are still offered in the BR.

I am sure they will be, but see if the themes and such are still the same.

Also pay attention to the musics for the Tossup, Speedup, and BR to see whether or not they've changed. And same with the opening and closing music. And also:
Is the Jackpot still R1, the Mystery still R3, and R2 just an ordinary round? And does the Prize Puzzle still vary between R2 and 3 only? Or is it R1 as well, just like Season 27 and back, or possibly no longer R3 (I'm guessing it could definitely still be R2 since that's not a special round otherwise).
Also with the PP, see if it is indeed true that it now just has to be associated with one word in the puzzle, not the entire puzzle. And see if just maybe with this rule, the PP could now be BEFORE & AFTER or SAME NAME. (For this, just say that this rule does exist and if there is a B&A or SN PP, nothing more). Also, I wonder if just maybe, they'll go back to every episode must now have a B&A or SN, since remember in Season 27, they had this rule, but I'm sure the reason for giving it up is because of the PP no longer in R1, since a B&A/SN in R1 is also very rare.
