Bonus puzzle was tough but fair. I got it with RSTLNE, though I also had OAK WINDOW as a backup guess.

Maybe one problem with deciding my favorite Disney character is that I think they're from more obscure ones. Of the well known franchises (excluding Pixar films), I think I'll have to go with the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.

This was shaping up to be quite the low scoring night before that nearly $12,000 trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. With Prize Puzzles like that it's difficult to see anybody besides the round 3 winner winning the game.

Prety tough bonus without anything on the top row. My first thought was BIG Window.

And that’s why this game is so flawed nowadays. Also add in the fact that it’s impossible to hit the $5K wedge at the start of R4 unless you’re really strong.

Really, R3 was the only good point about this otherwise miserable episode…aside from me no-lettering R2 and nailing the BR from the N.

EDIT: Due to me using the WABC feed to watch this episode, some newsman said that “record-high temps” are on the forecast. I had to laugh given where I live since there’s going to be a few days where the highs don’t even reach 60 degrees (F).

The start to the second Secret Santa week wasn’t that exciting until Crystal’s big PP. By the way, I no-lettered R2 and COMFORTER in R1, and I solved R3, TTU3, and R4 just as quickly. And this is the third time I can recall that they’ve hyphenated ICE SKATING. 🤨

I also solved the BR with Crystal’s picks. Maybe a B on top would’ve done it for her.
