This was not "Millionaire", this was Regis Philbin's new show, entitled "The Idiot's Guide to Trivia About the 44th President, Featuring Alleged Singer Katy Perry".

Well, I thought the first episode of the "Millionaire" revival was fine. I don't mind if the format of this revival follows the same format as Meredith Vieira's 2008-2009 season. Here's the good:
-bringing in celebrities to celebrate the 10th anniversary
-the celebrities playing at the end of each episode having all the lifelines available for the $50,000 questions
-and of course, Regis in his usually, funny self
The bad (and only thing I have):
-having only 15 seconds on the clock for the first five questions and sometimes resulting in a contestant answering the questions with just one second left
Personally, I just don't like these kinds of close calls (I missed a lot of the action of the 2008-2009 season with Meredith Vieira; I only saw the first five episodes of that same season) I just wish the first 10 questions were 30 seconds each.

Well, I enjoyed the 11-episode run of the return of Primetime Millionaire. The last episode I thought was quite a thrill. It's a shame that I got to witness a heartbreaking moment to this contestant. This is the first time ever in U.S. Millionaire history this has happened.
