Well today, the Phone-a-Friend lifeline is gone from the current Millionaire. It was mentioned that people have gone on the internet to get answers. Is that enough for the lifeline to get retired?

(sarcasm) I didn't realize that Millionaire was still on TV!
(realism) The show is dying a slow, painful death. I know that it airs around my parts (Detroit) at 2:30 in the morning on WDIV NBC-4, and likely is suffering a similar fate elsewhere. No millionaires for seven years is probably among the reasons it's no longer popular. So it will resort to using more gimmicks until it goes off the air sometime in the near future.

Millionaire seems to have jumped the shark with all these unnecessary changes.
