This thread is to be used for discussion of America's Favorite Quiz Show. Unfortunately, due to work, I was unable to catch the show. However, since this thread was requested, I decided to make it!
If you want, this can be general discussion, or a catch all, depending on what you fans want. I'm more than happy to make different threads for each day, like Sony's boards, if it's desired enough.
Any other ideas are usually fine by me; just go ahead and ask.
Happy discussion, and tell all your Sony Jeopardy! fan friends to check this board.

Thanks very much! My memory is not great (I blame it on old age) and I'm just an ordinary viewer (as opposed to Jeopardy-smart folks) so my comments might seem a bit simple. One clue that bugged me on Tuesday's show was the one state ending in "g" for $1,000...it felt highly overrated to me, mostly because I got it at once, and I'm not even American! (Canadian, eh) I mean, doesn't "ing" come to mind, then Wyoming is so obvious. I thought the earlier clues were more difficult. And in Wednesday's game... having "Stalag" in the FJ clue surely would eliminate it as a response? I had been rooting for Chris, and was disappointed to see her miss this one. I see that Sony's J! Archive is still safe, so at least the names and the FJ clues are being posted: www.j-archive.com/

The J! Archive isn't run by Sony, or anyone affiliated with the show. It's an independent site...and a very good resource. It wasn't affected by the Sony server hack.

What is everyone's favorite jeopardy set the original what most of us would call flipped set with the oranges and blues from the 1960s the 1978 all new set in its usual position and fireworks motif the 83 pc set the 84-91 set that was a neon tubed arch way of sorts the 91-96 electronic set with a grid pattern the 96-02 library/den/sushi set the 02-10 set that was all made of quadrilaterals until the podiums got updated in 2006 the current CES blue set with the background able to change colors again.

The metal grid, hands down. That, with that globe opening during that era = EPIC.
I'm not a fan of the current set at all. Never have been. It's too plain, with just those blue curtains in the background...and that monitor in the middle that seems to have little purpose whatsoever.

I liked the library/den/sushi best it was probably because of the back lighting being violet before the door changed to the hard to see violet, my second favorite is the trapezoidal podiums on the quads

Thanks for starting this thread. I used to go to the Sony Jeopardy! Board and was disappointed to see that it was suddenly gone....

For any of my fellow So Cal Jeopardy friends, the American Film Institute is hosting the Great American Movie Quiz - with Alex Trebek, naturally! - at the Hollywood Bowl this holiday weekend. hbowl.com/AFI I work with the LA Philharmonic and am pretty excited to check it out (and answer. everything. right. Bringing my biggest movie friend along for insurance). ;D Hopefully see some fellow Jeopardy fans there!

For those of you who want to see the upcoming season 28 Jeopardy! title card as well as some set photos for the brand new season, click the link below. It is not the same title card that was previously shown on wikipedia but is very similar to last season. In order to view the photo in a bigger size you have to register to the site under a major publication. www.cbspressexpress.com/div.php/cbs_tvdg/original/photos?id=1426&dpid=71
