Rana definitely cleaned up thanks to her big money hits and winning the Prize Puzzle. Too bad for Sheena and Peter, she just had bad luck with her letter calls and Peter with the Bankrupts.

Ugh, really thought she was going to easily solve that bonus puzzle. I thought it was pretty much a lock after she had the C, Ms, and As up.

Well, that's a wrap on 2021. Hopefully third year is the charm in this decade.

Fixed the Wheel Prize for you. It’s actually a trip to TENNESSEE. I can see that you copied a lot from the 12/27/21 recap.

Aside from a bumpy R2 (I swear almost every game this season has something not pleasant…), Rana did the best she could.

Not the best letter calling, Sheena…

BR: Wow, all that and still no solve? Maybe she needed the F. I too had FUZZY PAJAMAS from the S.

^I chose that recap because of a lot of the similarities to this maingame (Same MWF gift tag, same person starting R1, R1 and R2 had the same number of turns, R3 early Express crash, same victor). I’m sure mechamind doesn’t mind me using his recap as a template to save a few minutes of formatting.

Thanks for catching the trip wedge though.

New Year's Resolution for myself: Wait until 7:30 PM or later before looking at the recap thread. I spoiled myself on the gameplay not knowing that my brother would actually include Wheel and Jeopardy! as part of our (currently ongoing) New Year's Eve event. I thought it was all just going to be movies and games, especially after he did a private Jackbox stream the night before starting at 6:00.

Recaps will be on hiatus as of May 27, 2024 due to life changes.

Rana cleaned up nicely, but the hilarious Peter came on strong towards the end after his early bad luck. But poor Sheena…

I’m surprised none of tonight’s puzzles were tied to New Year’s Eve. In fact, I thought TU1 was YEAR and it took me a long time to get the first word of R2. Thanks, Common Letter Blindness.

I solved the BR with Rana’s picks. Maybe she needed another letter or two to get that puzzle, but four car landings in a row again?!

Rana did so great in the main game. I had the BR off her picks. That puzzle reminded me of this episode's bonus puzzle because my guess for that puzzle was COMFY PAJAMAS. COMFY was a possible word for that puzzle as none of the letters in the word COMFY were already used. Good episode to end the year

Tonight's rerun of this episode had a longer credit roll and a Promotional Consideration plug that the original airing did not have. Also, the rerun erroneously credits Mary Myers as a contestant co-producer, even though she is only known to have worked on the show for the first few tapings of Season 40.
