Happy New Year Wheel Watchers! Now that it's the New Year, any thoughts on wishes and predictions for the show in 2022. The one thing I'm excited about Wheel in the New Year is the 40th anniversary season premiere in September 2022. Maybe for the 40th anniversary next season they could show clips of vintage episodes and congratulatory messages from America's favorite television, film, music and sports stars just like they did for Season 25.
My wishes:
-Wheel come to NYC to celebrate their 40th anniversary next season just like they did for their 25th and 30th since I live in a suburb of the Big Apple.
-A million dollar win this year.
My predictions:
-A permanent replacement for a new executive producer who is talented as Mike Richards.

-At least a couple $100,000 winners
-The tournament advertised before the season actually happens
-One or two road show weeks during season 40 (NYC would be great)
-No more bad publicity moments like the CHOOSING THE RIGHT WORD bonus round fail
Predictions: -Celebrity Wheel is renewed for season 3
-Audiences return at least in some capacity for season 40, or at least contestants can bring family members again.
-At least one road show for season 40 is announced, even if it's just Las Vegas.

The above covered everything I was thinking of. In addition, and I know it won’t be likely, but I’d like them to stop using the bonus round minimum and those unfair gimmicks that literally sealed the game (Express, Prize Puzzle).

The bonus round minimum will probably still be used next season since it's the 40th season, but after that maybe they'll get rid of it.

Considering that Season 40 is going to be upon us come September. Here's what I'm hoping for.
Hopefully $850 and $950 will be dollar values on both the regular Wheel and Celebrity specials. In addition, $750, has gone from being an iconic dollar value (having had the honor of being the top value on at least three layouts) to being the only three-digit multiple of $50 above $500 that is not currently being used on the show in any way, shape, or form. Hopefully, it'll come back to be all in the family for Season 40 as well as Season 3 or 4 of the Celebrity version. I'm also hoping that since the Half Car Tags are gone, maybe the $500 spaces that used to house them will increase in value, maybe with the one that used to be $700 before Season 29 will be brought back to that amount.
For the Bonus Round, hopefully, the practice of upping the amount by $1000 will stop with Season 40.
Now if there's one thing I've been thinking about when it comes to the Celebrity version is the fact that there are four Million Dollar Wedges on the Wheel and four $100,000 envelopes in the Bonus Round under normal circumstances. How about contestants having multiple Million Dollar Wedges? I'm left to wonder if it would financially hurt replacing a $100,000 envelope with a One Million Dollar envelope for every Million Dollar Wedge brought to the Bonus Round.

I hope that whoever is the new EP can bring some more positive changes to the show. Season 39 had some good ones, and they can be built on.
