I heard about some rule changes for the 27th season.
First off, the Jackpot round has moved from the third round to the second round to the FIRST round. Round two is just a normal round while round three remains the mystery round.
The bare layout is pretty much the same, with no alterations of values or colors. However, the $2500 and $5000 spaces are finally seen on the show sitting right next door to a Bankrupt spot. The only time we saw such was in Sony Online's 2003 version where the $5000 sat next to the Bankrupt in round 3.
The electronic and flashy Free Play wedge is raised two inches off the wheel base. The French's new Jackpot round has its Jackpot wedge raised off the rest of the wheel. I'll discuss it in the Around the World section.
I also heard rumors cars may no longer be offered in the bonus round, but I doubt that will happen.
The toss-up and final spin graphics now have a more purplish look than blue.
Finally, the Prize Puzzle graphic used in season 26 will have the words Prize Puzzle instead of just Prize.
This could be an interesting season. Let's see of the Million Dollar Wedge's second season can make a lucky one another millionaire!

It is in fact true that there will be no more cars offered in the bonus round. Also, we don't have an Around The World section on this board yet. |

So now all Wheel's offering is cash and trips. Can't say I didn't think this would happen.
Contestant Coordinator: So why do you want to be on Wheel of Fortune?
Contestant: Because I want a nice bedroom set and a beautiful new kitchen...maybe a hot tub, or some savings bonds.
Contestant Coordinator: ...Don't call us. Ever.
