FILL IN THE BLANK |
Don...begins by saying KEEP THE FAITH before solving the whole thing. After a prompt from Pat, he starts over and solves as ? THE FAITH ? IN TOUCH ? OFF THE GRASS.
He said the "blank" already, but Pat asks him to repeat it for the $1,000 bonus.
And he does. Obviously, the blank is keep.

BONUS ROUND:
Don gets another shot in Bonus Land with $17,650 so far. We still have the pearls and the $25,000.
Hopefully he remembers to take just the envelope. Don picks the H again (the audience applauds the H for some reason), and he tries this puzzle:

He first asks if N is taken, but then he picks MDHO...
...and there's nothing for the audience to cheer about.
He says TALK, TIME, THIS, TIRE, and TORN. He does not solve TUBA. The audience really did not like that puzzle.
Maybe they wanted to see him win the $25,000. Don still has $17,650 and one more chance.
In the post-game, Pat brings up Hawaii's natural wonders, specifically the volcano Kilauea. Vanna took a helicopter tour, and she got to see the hot lava from above. It has been flowing since 1983.
