What a start for Jennifer thanks to the $2,500 hit and same letter call in R1. Surprised she spun again instead of calling vowels right after that.

A weird transition after the stumper on the last puzzle of the Triple Toss-Up. It felt like they stopped tape to determine who would be starting the round.

I RSTLNEd the bonus puzzle. The O as the vowel was definitely the right choice, though A might've worked also. A nice solve from the jaws of defeat in the last few seconds.

Great game tonight by Jennifer. Great solves in Round 4 and 5 by her. I was nowhere close on those when she solved. I had the BR off her picks. Proud of her for solving that because it took a while for her to get it. Great episode to start the week.

Jennifer cleaned up, mostly thanks to her big R1. And Michael was a quick puzzle solver.

I couldn’t get any of the Triple Toss-Ups; I thought #1 was TROPICAL and #3 was HIKING. Well, so much for a Triple Stumper being avoided like last season…

But I RSLTNE’d the BR. Good thing Jennifer talked it out to win the car!

Oh, and congrats to Adam and Heather for getting engaged on their Italy tour.

They shouldn't have. Jack521, who was on in early S37, confirmed that the "who starts" rule for TTU3 going unsolved was always the same as when there was a $3,000 Toss-Up. I always suspected as such, even though it does make just as much sense for the right to start R4 to go to whoever solved TTU2.

Themed weeks are not as common anymore, but the obligatory Collette weeks still live on...

TTU3: So much about 2 years being stumper free...I only got that one because the CC from CDixie 's YT copy had AnnaRose saying the correct answer (and I'll only refer to that channel if my DVR ends up crapping out on the episodes I have to recap).

I think the only reason why they stopped tape is because it's been a LONG time since we had that scenario.

R5: In a sponsored week no less...I'm pleasantly surprised. Michael and Jennifer were sure quick solvers, and it did help that none of the puzzles were overly contrived.

BR: Moving the shameless sweepstakes plug to the beginning of that segment was actually a good move (especially when there's less game time in those weeks). I got it with RSTLNE as well and good thing Jennifer got it just in time to win that MINI (and wow, that is quite pricey for a 2dr hardtop)...

Really solid show overall and this easily could've been a six-rounder if some of the fluff was cut. The only bad thing about it was the triple stumper.
