In the final segment, a clip of contestant Anwer from August 6, 2020 (mislabeled as April 14, 2020…which was originally the intended airdate) shown just after he solves for a trip to Iceland, where he reunited with his long-distance best friend Andrew.

Vanna has been to Iceland, and she thought it was wonderful. She didn't see the northern lights, though, because it was 24-hour daylight at the time. If you want to see them, don't go in June.

Again, trouble with the Triple Toss-Ups (I had KING OF THE JUNGLE for the first one). Should've gotten the $2,000 Toss-Up as well.

Again, not too many letters. This time, though, I got the Bonus Puzzle with his choices.

Yolanda's pause between WALL and SOCKET was almost as long as the infamous pause in that bonus round a few weeks ago, I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a flashback to that after her solve.

Tough bonus round with the Fs showing. Would've been a cinch with them.

The previous contestant podium looks so small compared to the current one in these Collette clips.

Everyone did a good job. It seemed like Yolanda would dominate at first, then Dom took over, but Ashley came on strong with the Triple Toss-Up sweep!

I solved R4 with just the T’s, but TTU3 stumped me (my best guess was ROYAL MEMBER given the theme of that round). But once again, I RSTLNE’d the BR, and Dom needed the F’s here.

My rating: 7

I wasn’t that hot on puzzle-solving today (at least in the main portion). I couldn’t figure out SOCKET in R1, was stuck on WATERFALL(S) the next round, had KING OF THE JUNGLE for TTU1 and WORLD LEADER for TTU3.

R3: Pricey Trip Puzzle is pricey.

R4: Yeah, I figured this would be a full speed-up (stupid sponsored weeks…). That one (and R3) I got from the first two letter calls.

BR: Also RSTLNEd it. I tried to telepathically send an O to Dom, but it didn’t work. Darn.

Decent winnings-wise, but it’s skewed a bit by a pricey PP trip and not enough skill. 6/10
