Tatyana Ali is an actress, director, singer, all the works, but she's possibly most famous for The Fresh prince of Bel-Air. She then graduated from Harvard in political science. Tatyana talks about how she used to watch Wheel with her abuela. She's playing for Commonsense Childbirth, a nonprofit that helps with birth equity, and helping community midwives.
Haley Joel Osment is the "I see dead people" kid from The Sixth Sense, and he got nominated for an Oscar at 11 based on that performance. More recently, he's starred in The Kominsky Method and Goliath. He's playing for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, a company that wants to tackle the one in five people in LA with food insecurity.
Curtis Stone is a Michelin-stared chef with at least two restaurants (Gwen in Hollywood and Maude in Beverly Hills). He's starred in many shows, including Crime Scene Kitchen. He's playing for Chrysalis, an organization that seeks to give people a second chance in the job market. Pat also notes that the N disappears in restaurateur, which mildly amuses Curtis.

Gameplay-wise, these two episodes were fantastic, with two dominant players (Tatyana and Haley), two BR wins and a rare fourth round to top it.

I liked Tatyana’s face when she was about to solve a puzzle after Curtis’ misfortunes. (At least he solved a Triple Toss-Up.) And regarding the Benedict Cumberbatch fiasco, I thought Pat was joking about not knowing who he was.

By the way, I no-lettered the TV quote and the extra-round puzzle, solved the first BR with Tatyana’s picks, and RSTLNE’d the second BR.

This was very refreshing to see outside from a couple puzzles (I'm not the one who's getting tired about using a celebrity's name for Rhyme Time or either wordplay category). This feels like an episode that doesn't feel too out of place with the syndie show. Heck, I'd say that this was better than most of what Syndie Wheel offers in that current season.

It helped that Tatyana and Haley played like any regular contestant would.

BR: Solved both with the RSTLNE. At least Haley wouldn't have won the whole lot had he taken the MDW over to Bonus Land.

And yes, I just watched this episode. Maybe it was 6 days late, but oh well.

Here's hoping for an epic season finale!
