Eh. Glad we had a million win and more double-win episodes, but it wasn't as enjoyable as Season 1. The puzzle writing got way too soft and mostly turned away from modern pop culture; we only got one song puzzle from the 21st century all season (and even that one was over two decades old), yet we had several in Season 1. It was cringy to see Raven blow a 70's Song Lyrics puzzle and explicitly announce afterwards that it was before her time. I feel like just about every puzzle in Season 2 could be done on the syndicated show (if it hasn't already), but we definitely couldn't say that about some Season 1 puzzles.
I'm not as hopeful about the show getting another season because of its big ratings dip thanks to ABC putting it on Sundays against football. We'll see. I don't care for the show nearly as much as I did in Season 1, but I still want to see it keep going to help the WOF franchise.

I pretty much echo what Mario said, I liked season 2 but not as much as season 1. The million dollar win was definitely the highlight and I loved that Melissa Joan Hart was the one that won it, but the puzzle writing wasn't that great and the celebrities playing weren't as good as they were in season 1 (Jeff Garlin and Raven Symone especially way too annoying). More 21st century puzzles would've been nice also.

Too Much Episodes in this season. I Love WoF ever but I Think that when the contestants are celebrity missed competition and adrenaline.

Low point of the season was probably the Stayin' Alive puzzle. Blatantly out-of-touch puzzle writing.
But the overall worst possible thing about the season was putting it up against football. It lost about half of the viewership numbers it had last season.
Hopefully the puzzles improve and it gets moved to somewhere where it doesn't hemorrhage ratings. But I fear it may not get renewed.

Low point of the season was probably the Stayin' Alive puzzle. Blatantly out-of-touch puzzle writing. I think the main point of that puzzle, and most others on CWOF, is that they try to use puzzles with repeated words to give the puzzle more letters and more multiples for larger payouts, since they're too lazy to up the Wheel values. We also saw this in Season 1 with puzzles like SETTING THE BAR REALLY REALLY REALLY LOW. I also believe the move to Sunday is the reason the puzzle writing got stale. Since they knew during production the show would now air on Sundays, ABC or someone high up probably wanted the show to be more family-friendly, since it would be following AFV, which is a family show. This way, they just have to dig into the pool of puzzles from the regular show and come up with a bunch of Rhyme Times and B&A's with celebrity names, plus a couple of ABC/Disney cross-promoting puzzles.
According to TV Line, CWOF Season 2 was the third-lowest rated ABC primetime program of the 2021-22 season as of the end of 2021, only above Home Economics and Queens. Although it gets well over a million viewers more than Sweep, Sweep ranks two spots higher than CWOF because it does better in the 18-49 demo, and AFV beats CWOF in viewers and ties in the demo. This is not good.
