Yet another new confirmed full credit roll date is May 2, 2002, during Wheel's first Teen Best Friends week. During that week, three teams of two teens played in each episode.

Here's the first reply on this thread in a while. Pluto TV may have added some 80s and 90s episodes of nighttime Wheel with a long credit roll for sure. There were two versions of the credits on the nighttime show in the 80s: a short credit roll (with no staff credits) and a full credit roll, depending on the episode.

I specifically remember the September 30, 1993 episode had a full credit roll, and it seemed like the entire theme was likely played... I say "likely" because my local station cut to commercial before it finished (cutting off a few seconds before it would have reached the end). Thirty years later, and the local station still has that annoying habit.  |

I didn't get a chance to watch this episode as our CBS (KFSM) had football on at the time it was supposed to air. They bumped it to 1:30 in the morning, but I was too tired to even try to solve puzzles at that time, lol, although, I should have it on my YT TV DVR.
And when I say football had a reason for Wheel having the long credit roll, I mean like they did it to get the schedule back on track so you aren't having shows ending at an odd time like 1:37, lol.

^ It was because they filmed two different closings for the episode: one with a tribute to Vanna's cat who died before the episode's taping, and a general closing. They either decided it wasn't necessary to air the tribute again over a year later, or because of licensing issues with the music used in the tribute.
Pretty much all episodes of Wheel have the same running time regardless of how long the credits are. A master file for a typical episode runs for 28 minutes and 42 seconds with space for commercials.

I know more full credit roll dates for sure:
May 2, 2002 in the first Teen Best Friends week during season 19 (2001-02). I don't know if that episode was aired again as either a summer rerun or a Saturday rerun during season 20 (2002-2003). Let me know if you remember the rerun date.
The episode, as first aired on December 14, 2007 (Choose Your Own Vacation Day 5) is another episode to have a long credit roll, so I guess the FCR was retained in a summer rerun from June 20, 2008.
