As Pat said, there are semi-valid reasons for using the Wild Card on a three-figure amount, rather than seeing it go to waste on Bankrupt, but man that still left me scratching my head.

Where did Jonathan think the F went in round 1? He had the very obvious K he could've called at least. So much for the Virginia trip. Also surprised Dianne kept spinning so long into the puzzle, I guess she really didn't know it until she called the B.

I guess Jonathan using the Wild Card on $900 wasn't that bad of a choice, but of course it eventually went to waste since there was no O.

Sorry to pick on him again, but Jonathan must have a thing for the letter F-- why was that his first letter choice in the Speed Up? A bad night for him overall.

Questionable choice going with Thing, but Dianne did solve it at least! Funny moment with Vanna walking by the one letter not uncovering it. It was surprising she figured out OBVIOUS first but it took her another couple seconds to figure out EXAMPLE which had much more uncovered.

I also needed the extra letters to figure out EXAMPLE in the Bonus Round. Funny that Vanna missed one of the letters before the three-and-a-vowel.

Maybe another case for going back to mostly one-word bonus puzzles (such as JAYBIRDS if you want a challenge), though in this case it was solved in time.

Let's try this again, without getting the BR puzzle wrong this time. (Seems that my time to edit my first post has passed.)

Second time that I can recall that Vanna has missed a letter. The only other time I can recall was after a round on the old puzzleboard, possibly after a Speed-Up was solved.

Jonathan is exactly the reason why I'm questioning the contestant selection nowadays given his questionable R1 dud and WC use. Dianne, however, seems like the best player this episode despite needing the Trip Puzzle to win.

The episode also seemed really stressful in the spinning rounds.

BR: I also needed her letters to solve this one. At least she made some good letter picks to put together a solve.

This adorable dog breed is basically a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. I walked a couple of 'em earlier this week and they were the best-behaved dogs that I have walked. They also love other dogs as well!

In terms of puzzle-solving, Dianne dominated. But some of Jonthan’s gameplay was… um, questionable.

I no-lettered CURTAIN in R2 and solved R3 just as fast, but it took a while for me to solve R4. And TTU1 was even trickier. But I solved the BR with Dianne’s picks. Good thing she said it all in time.
