My word was round 2 a trainwreck. One of the worst overall performances in a round in a long time, and a close competitor to the infamous Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa puzzle from 2010.

At least Laura did get some cash in the Speed Up round, so it wasn't a total loss for her.

I got the bonus with his letters, but it wasn't easy without more showing on the second word.

I don't think I've ever seen a single contestant give three wrong answers in a regular round. Almost broke my template again. At least she won something for her troubles.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE. Definitely hard, so I can see why he didn't get it.

(I gotta give kudos to ProBoards as the software restored my recap code. My computer crashed after watching the Bonus Round, but when I opened my browser again, it magically came back! I don't know if it's a premium feature, but it's good for me to have.)

I’m so glad that I didn’t have to recap this episode because that Round 2 was RIDICULOUS! So much so that I decided to take a break and do a quick errand at Vons right after.

I can understand HAT, given that's an easy mistake when you're up there, but MAP and LAP? Really?

Speed-Up was a bit tricky; never heard of Chestnuts being PEELED before.

I thought the last word in Round 2 was WAY. That was such a weird round. I also got flashbacks to the Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa incident when that happened

The argument is that if Laura ever figured out the puzzle, that's $6,750 more that Thomas would have to overcome. Meanwhile, if he kept spinning with two, or in the final case one letter left, the only four outcomes that could of been more beneficial than just solving were the Mystery Wedge (which is still a 50-50 for the $10k), the $3,500, the trip, or *maybe* the MDW and/or the Wild Card. Only 13 out of 72 spaces could have been beneficial, 11 out of 72 spaces would have lost him his turn, potentially letting Laura have another chance and locking that cash, and the remaining 2/3 of the wheel does nothing to help him.

I think it's technically a mistake, but it's not as egregious as the other two players.

All I’ll say about this episode is that R2 was… bizarre. I’m glad Laura redeemed herself with a couple of solves and Pat defended the trio after that fiasco. But goodness gracious… 😳

Anyway, I solved TTU2 as quickly as Thomas did and RSTLNE’d the BR. Maybe BGHO would’ve been a better combo for Christopher.
