Recap posted. I'll be taking next week off to prepare for a move, and I already PM'ed about it.

Rough start, but things improved...except of course Kwanza getting the gooseegg.

I got Round 1 with just the T's, and I actually no-lettered the crossword. Speaking of both those puzzles, I'm tempted to put the blame on the writers for both those missolves. Chris pronounced it like the song, and Kwanza's guess actually lines up with some of the strange puzzle writing.

I got the bonus puzzle just before Chris picked his vowel. I had FLAVORFUL immediately, and then I thought of DUMPLING.

I'll be glad to have the break, as I don't know how moving is gonna go.

I guess 80s songs is the theme this week. Chris was punished for pronouncing this the way Annie Lennox sings it in the song, but you have to read the word that's there and the whole word was showing.

Camping BEAR was understandable, I suppose. More plausible than the Feather in the _AT guesses last week.

Great job by Chris on the TTU.

I had the bonus puzzle after his letters. Calling the F likely would've sealed it.

Corrected all of the last names for you (in other words, the ugly CCer is back).

Nice to see that the R1 blunder was just a lil mishap. It’s honestly understandable as well (the lead singer sang something that sounded like that). Speaking of which, I had that puzzle within the first 2 (correct) letter calls.

R2 though was a bit less understandable (Pat’s comments did help a bit, but not enough).

BR: Was wondering where the Slotomania promo was…anyway, I had it off RSTLNE. F’s were critical.

Pat walking of the stage at the end, though. 😂

Hoo boy, this Tuesday episode was wild. At least Chris was able to redeem himself after his R1 mishap. (I’m shocked but not surprised that went viral.) And Kwanza had me cracking up.

I solved the first two rounds and the last two Triple Toss-Ups fast. I also nailed the BR with RSTLNE. Perhaps the F’s would’ve given Chris a shot.

My rating: 6
