My favorite memories of Gilbert are of his performance as Digit on PBS's Cyberchase, which actually just finished a new season and is premiering a special later this month. Hope they dedicate it to him, though after that, I would rather they end the show than just recast him. His voice is way too iconic to be replaced in a role like this (Aflac Duck was different since he didn't actually speak words). He will be missed.  |

Nearly 5 years ago, I was lucky enough to have met Gilbert Gottfried in person and we talked about Hollywood Squares and Cyberchase. He was a really lovely man outside of the stand up world and now that is 3 of my favorite comedians that I met in person gone. Rest in peace, Gilbert.   |
