An absolutely poor R3 puzzle. Since WHEN is COLLECTING DRIFTWOOD Fun & Games?!

Cars are staring to become undesirable prizes, if I’m being brutally honest. A while a go, an almost $31K Nissan Rogue was won. Tonight, it’s a $31K+ Tiguan. Pitiful.

Another $5,000 Final Spin hit! Nice job by Deeda to solve it, just too bad she didn't quite have enough to be the big winner and take the MDW to the bonus round. That would've been interesting to have the house and the million available.

The bonus puzzle was pretty easy after BA was lit up, but still an impressive enough solve without the Ps showing.

That would've been something to think about. Someone brings the Million-Dollar Wedge to the Bonus Round, but hits the Home envelope instead. Or vice-versa. Either way, we wouldn't know for sure which envelope it is unless Pat explicitly says "Well, it's not the Million" after opening it.

That was really embarrassing on my part. In the Bonus Round, I had BAKING with RSTLNE, but I couldn't get SUPPLIES.

I took me longer to get SUPPLIES than it did BAKING. I was reminded of BAKING DISHES from the S36 premiere and was thinking that S___L_ES was a specific baking object at first. I did get it before Vanna revealed the picks, though.

That was the first time In the Kitchen was chosen on the syndicated show since May 19, 2021.

R3: Gotta agree with sushibarset14. I didn't even have it until the D's were called. Not surprised that big BANKRUPT happened.

R4: That Final Spin perfectly describes the puzzle (we've been having a lot of that lately). The end result...not as much.

Also, this end the streak of the solver of a $6K Speed-Up losing.

BR: Well, -ES in the end pretty much tells us that it has to be plural. Therefore, I had it off the RSTLNE. Again, offering a car nearly $8,000 less than the season minimum is such a joke. I sincerely hope this gets fixed next season (that's probably why I only use the YT copies part of the time lol)...

Good TTU set for once, pretty subtle theming and not contrived at all. Also nice to see a rarer BR category result in an easy puzzle and win.

Hmm, maybe. That’d really be seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel, no matter what category you put that in.

To sum up this episode: Liz was a hoot, Ron’s BANKRUPTS hurt, and Deeda came oh so close to an upset. (That’s the first time this season that the winner didn’t solve the $6K Final Spin puzzle.)

The musician in me was happy to see the Triple Toss-Up solutions. And once again, I RSTLNE’d the BR. Personally, the car’s price is sort of a moot point; Liz’s win is a win. But that’s just me.

Also neat that Angelina Chaney received her car on her wedding anniversary.

My rating: 6
