Wheel Of Fortune! Where one spin of the Wheel could twirl you into some fabulous fortune.
We might get a great view of you enjoying a trip to India including the Himalayas!
Today's contestants are:
Carol Tavner: Relocation agent selling properties in France, also had previous jobs before a 3-year psychology course, then opened a restaurant; from Penzance in Cornwall
Roger Carver: Law lecturer involving contracts and matrimonial...though he's single, so he knows something we don't; from Redbridge in East London
Lynn Farrell: Works for a career service, and Nicky says young people wanted to be pop stars...but now they want to be game show hosts; from Wincle in Cheshire
The top value on the Wheel is 1,000. Carol might get the chance to test her psychology on this Wheel as she starts our first round!
One miscalculation could land you on our second BANKRUPT, but you could get it just right and hit our second 1,000 space. A leather briefcase set could be just the right prize for you! We'll place the token on 200 and start our second round.
"Lynn's here for a spin", and our third player may like our third 1,000 space! She also has the first shot at a lady's hand-knitted designer outfit. ("Roger, it would really suit you.") This time, the token goes on 700, and this is our puzzle:
All that extra money can't buy us some extra time, I'm afraid. Nicky must give the Wheel one last spin, and consonants will be worth 400. Carol starts.
Carol: F (DUD!)
Roger: S (400)
Lynn: L (x2) (800)
Carol: T (400)
Roger: R (x2) (1,200)
Lynn: B (1,200)
