Wheel Of Fortune! Where one spin of the Wheel could twirl you into some fabulous fortune.
Today's contestants are:
Philippa: Sculptor and runs a shop, wanting to open a museum (likes getting her hands on old things); from Halifax
Jane: Mother of two, likes sports and looking around houses that she cannot afford; from Nottinghamshire
Gary: Postman, likes sports and reading; from Cambridge
The top value on the Wheel is 1,000, but look out for that vision in black and a little white. Try for the colours instead (except for a single red space) as we start our first round:
Fast as you can try, the second BANKRUPT still made it to the Wheel. All we can do is add a second 1,000 space to help you. No matter what, Carol is ready with a "fur fun" coat. We put the token on 200 and start another round.
Back to the show, and a third BANKRUPT sneaks in, but so does the third 1,000 space. Over to Carol who presents an 18-karat gold diamond and sapphire ring with 12 diamonds! We've placed a token on 250, and it's time to start the next round.
She's hungry and so are we, so guess what our next category is?
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Somebody's hungry for a top prize right now, so Nicky should give the Wheel one last spin. Consonants are worth 500.
Jane: R (x3) (1,900)
Gary: P (500)
Gary takes a guess of ROAST PORK AND CRACKLING. He's correct.
BONUS ROUND:
Thanks in part to a good third round, Philippa is the winner! Now to look at the top prizes:
SMHCRE doesn't light up too much.
