In the final segment, Vanna says she has a quick salmon recipe:

Preheat oven to 400°F
On salmon, squeeze lemon, salt/pepper
Put in oven 18-20 minutes
(You can also substitute soy sauce instead of lemon.)

Pat's recipe for bologna sandwich: You take the bologna, you put it on bread, you eat it, you're done. 2 minutes tops.

Charlotte won money in the first puzzle, and then she won $10,000 because she swept it in Triple Toss-up. She won the game and didn't come up with the second word correctly in the Bonus Round. Furthermore, she was THIS CLOSE in having the season’s lowest-winning total by just $10.

Ellenor could've called the pretty obvious C in round 3 and it might've been enough for her to solve and win the Prize Puzzle.

Great job by Charlotte on the Triple Toss-Up which ended up being the difference in the game. Some funny exchanges between her and Pat on salmon also.

I figured the last word was HOUSE when the puzzle was first put up, I figured out the rest with the Os.

I made the same wrong guess as Charlotte on the $1,000 Toss-Up, but I like this guess better than the actual answer (even though I've been to at least one off-grid house in the past few years).

I got the second Triple Toss-Up before the blanks, and yet I couldn't get the third Triple Toss-Up. I also no-lettered Round 4.

I got the bonus puzzle with RSTLNE, but once again, I didn't like the puzzle. I may have referred to a house as famous in the past, but I'm more used to calling a house historic.

(Other than what I need to do for the recaps, I'm falling further and further behind on the DVR. At least this is my second-to-last week of recapping. We're almost done!)

Charlotte's Triple T-U sweep was the highlight of this depressingly average game. I also got the BR with the RSTLNE (even though it's another silly adjective-noun pairing).

This was a tight (albeit modest) match with some costly penalties and duds, but the real highlight was Charlotte’s Triple Toss-Up sweep (I don’t think we’ve had one in a while).

I would’ve waited to solve TU2 because it could’ve been AHAB or NEMO. I would’ve messed up on TU1 with LAND, and I was stumped on BLOCK in R2. And YOU CAN’T CATCH UP was actually my guess in R4.

But I’ve never heard of SOCKEYE SALMON until now. Charlotte knows her fish. But maybe some help on top would’ve helped her in the BR (I knew it with her picks).

My rating: 5
