FORTNITE BIRTHDAY PARTY? Wow. And the real answer was FORTIETH BIRTHDAY PARTY for the 40th season.
Since season 37, the finale always has a car win.

In a number of ways, this felt like the premiere. We had a Triple Toss-Up sweep, some pretty high scores, and a bonus round win...though we also ended with a gooseegg.

That bonus puzzle threw me off, as I wouldn't have spelled "dingoes" with an E. I did figure out that word with the reveals, at least.

Okay! We survived a full season! Give me the three months break, and I'll be ready for another.

A nice match between Jasmin and Rob tonight for the season finale, with Rob taking the lead with a Triple Toss-Up sweep.

Rounds 1 and 4 took unnecessarily long to solve. It was a nice nod to the upcoming 40th season to have FORTIETH Birthday Party be the last main game puzzle of the 39th season.

O was the best vowel choice, and he got very lucky choosing D with the Wild Card. Without the D I'm not sure he would've solved it. Great to see a bonus win on the season finale.

Well, that's it for season 39. Can't wait to see what's in store for the 40th season under a new EP!

Well, this is it – an intense season finale.

It was the match between Rob and Jasmin. The only real downside of this game is that poor Kayla couldn’t gain any traction…

They’re really hyping up their upcoming milestone season, aren’t they (looking at you, R4)? And I couldn’t get the penultimate word of R5 until the last minute, but I solved TTU1 with just the E.

I nailed the BR with Rob’s picks, which were fantastic. Way to close out the season with a car win, sir!

My rating: 8
Weekly rating: 7

BR-wise, this week was a nice way to wrap up this 195-episode stretch. Pat’s interactions with the contestants made it even more worth watching.

Overall, I enjoyed season 39. It was a blast capturing the magic of this season in my recaps of most of the Friday episodes (and then some).

And with that, let’s make a toast to season 40! 🥂

That was a nice way to finish off the season (and it had a lot of parallels to the premiere episode). Only bad thing about it was the R2 Bankrupt (and the gooseegg).

R4: FORTNITE BIRTHDAY PARTY was a cute guess. I almost thought that was right when watching it of Wheel's TikTok.

BR: I also got it with those picks. Didn't think they wanted that bonus puzzle to be won, but it was.

Talk about a rollercoaster ride of a season (starting from Mike Richard's firing). Nevertheless, I'm glad I was able to contribute to most of the Wed/Thurs episodes of the season (and then some).

Bellamie, don't disappoint us!
