From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
GREAT RAIL JOURNEY
EPISODE #2440
Here are today's contestants!
Lorena Gonzalez is from Vista, CA. She got her bachelor's degree from Stanford, her master's in Georgetown, and is in her first year of law school at UCLA. She's also seven months pregnant
Chris Walker is from Auburn, WA. He owns a small business. He has three children and two grandchildren. He's currently single. He also runs out of things to say, so Pat reads off the card about him writing screenplays and designing mass transit designs. Chris says he has a lot of free time, and when Pat asks if anyone's purchased any, Chris says they just don't know what they're missing
Kate Peia is from Vegas, and luck be a lady with the $77,259 she's won over the past two days. Pat mentions that she has two children, a little girl that's hugged her both times she won the bonus round, and Anthony, a two-year-old.
When it comes to a way to watch Wheel, EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE ONE. Kate has now solved 12 of the past 14 puzzles.
A trip to MEXICO is added to the wheel, with a flight from aeromexico and a week for two at the Krystal Ixtapa. It's worth $2,128!
Kate definitely isn't having DENTAL BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER with the $5,100 she's won.
Chris knows ARABIAN QUARTER & CLYDESDALE, but does he know what those describe?
Of course, it's about HORSES, to bump his cash winnings up to $1,800.
There's a $5,000 RING on the wheel, along with the glitter space.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Would you look at the time? Vowels are worth nothing, consonants worth... $350.
Lorena: F (x2 - $2,250
Chris: Y (DUD!)
Kate: W ($3,050)
Looks like Kate knows about the NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION for the threepeat!
Kate's $86,609 is impressive. Can we add another trip to that total? Between the first E and L, she takes the L
Her last RSTLN E give...
Quite frankly, if you find the first word and fill it up, the second word will be easy. Guess what she does with DGM O?
It's just a shame she didn't call the B to completely clean out the GOLDEN GLOBES. (she admits her first thought was GOLDEN GLOVES, which was mine also). She's off to CANADA for a rail journey, a stay at a hotel in Whistler, and a shearling coat. It's a prize package worth $18,551!
All in all, she retires with $105,160 in cash and prizes! The family come on down once more and shout out people (Mario: Kathy, Alyssa: Anthony, Kate: mom & dad)
Pat Chat: Pat and Vanna admit that they know the puzzles beforehand. Pat jokingly says that Kate knew, and that Harry's fainted in shock due to the breach.
