From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #2445
Here are today's contestants!
Julie Hill is from San Diego. She won $56,996 in cash, prizes, and a trip to Greece. She's studying and doesn't know what to do afterwards.
Dan Dallet is from Palmetto, FL. He's a retired person who worked for a large chemical company, and now he's playing a lot of golf. He says that there's a lot of lakes at each hole, and he's been in all of them. Dan and his wife, Penny, share six children and ten grandchildren.
Shane Brown is from Lafayette, LA. He works with his dad in the oil business. He also raises Staffordshire Terriers, Bull terriers, English pitbulls, etc.
Dan puts this round out of its misery with a KEY DECISION.
That round was rough. Let's unwind and add a trip to the 1996 Olympic Games in ATLANTA worth $4,412!
Shane spots RABBIT THE GREAT PAUL & MARY for an impressive $10,550. Can he add another thousand?
Peter, yes he can!
It really seems like KANSAS CITY MISSOURI would be a good place for Shane to spend his newfound wealth.
Shane pads his lead with PANT LEGS WITH CUFFS.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
I'm surprised we were able to shove a round 5 in here. Vowels worth nothing, consonants worth $300.
Dan: R ($650 - guesses STARTER)
Shane: C (DUD!)
Julie: S (DUD!)
Dan: N (DUD!)
Shane: H (DUD!)
Julie: L (DUD!)
Dan: C (Duplicate!)
Shane: P (DUD!)
Julie: D ($300)
Dan: M ($950 - mumbles ANIMATOR)
...and we're down to all vowels now, says Pat.
Shane doesn't even need to call a vowel to get ODOMETER. He'll take the house minimum $200.
Julie still walks away with $56,996, so it's not all bad.
Out of WHEE, Shane chooses the H.
Person does not always mean proper name.
RSTLN E give...
PCM O give...
and unfortunately, Shane just doesn't see it. He gest PRACTICAL right away, and guesses PRACTICAL MOVER, but misses PRACTICAL JOKER for the MEXICO & VAN package. But still, $20,700 in cash isn't bad!
Pat Chat: In Round 3, Pat jokingly said Vanna was talking to the letters. Vanna claims that she was talking to the person behind the puzzleboard, but that doesn't change his mind: Vanna must be crazy.
