From Sony Studios, it's America's Game!
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
EPISODE #2474
Here are today's contestants!
Sid Bowman is from Virginia Beach, VA. He's originally from Wisconsin. He flew a6 intruders as a navigator for the Navy for about a decade. Now, he works for an architectural signage company in Virginia Beach. He has a 5.5-year-old son (Garrett) who just got his white tip in karate.
Doug Laird is from Nokomis, FL. His wife and he has a promotional products company that gives marketing consultancy for local businesses. He has five children and three grandchildren.
Tom Colberg is from Bellevue, WA. He's an engineering assistant for a classic rock radio station (read: a lot of dead guys). Otherwise, he likes the outdoors, so snowing, skiing, hiking, camping, and fly fishing are all up his alley.
Oh cool, Wheel can get lazy using themselves in a Before & After? Fine. Doug solves WHEEL OF FORTUNE COOKIE for $1,350.
If Wheel is going to be lazy, I'm going to be lazy and just copy/paste the copy for the Olympics trip again.
Sid might find $7,750 INSIDE SPECIALLLY MARKED PACKAGES.
Interesting strategy, Doug, solving GIDGET OSCAR WINNER FLYING NUN with no cash. Apparently, he gets the house minimum $200 before the bonus question. He knows it's SALLY FIELD.
Round 4 adds a JET BOAT worth over $10,000.
DING-DING! DING-DING!
Time's running out, so Pat gives the final yank of the wheel. Vowels are free, consonants net $250.
Sid: M ($650 + SURPRISE | mumbles *uhmbotonist*)
Doug: R (DUD!)
Tom: N ($250)
Sid: D ($900 + SURPRISE | IDEAL...)
Doug: L ($250)
Tom: P (DUD!)
Sid: C (x2 - $1,400 + SURPRISE | EDITORIAL CUP)
Doug: V ($500)
Doug, you might want to ask an ADVICE COLUMNIST on how to spend your Wheel winnings.
Only HEEL remains. Sid chooses the H.
RSTLN E shall help in all it can.
MDK O... only has one letter help, but it helps a lot.
Sid talks fast, with SOME SPOON, SILVER SPOON, SUN SPOON, SUN SWOON, SONG SWOON, SING SPOON, SANTS... , but never finds the SOUP SPOON for the savings bonds.
At least Sid has $7,750, and he'll be back tomorrow!
